Why should you get to know HopeLaughLove?
So this summer saw me mountain biking off-road across Scotland, sunbathing on a beach in Barcelona, picnicking on Hampstead Heath to the sounds of Van Morrison and turning my guest bedroom into a Bridal Suite for my friend and her new husband as a wedding gift (and thank you, I did not stay at home that night!!!) My life is busy and varied, but never dull; my friends think of me as very caring, loyal but always up to something slightly mad. I have a long list of hobbies that I dip in and out of including photography, horse riding, orienteering, scuba diving but mainly mountain biking at the moment.
I scrub up well but have no qualms in getting muddy if the need arises. I may not always dress like I stepped out of Vogue but I can connect and communicate with anyone and that is where my values lie.
Running my own business means that I am confident and currently solvent; I get a lot of holiday and long weekends which is great for travelling, even better with a partner in crime.
I love life and all the experiences it throws at me, both physically and mentally. I meet challenges head on and believe that you make your own destiny. I err towards a very positive and sometimes overly optimistic outlook on life, definitely a glass half full gal (wine or spirits, I'm not fussy..)
I enjoy the hustle and bustle of big cities and I miss living in London. I ended up in the 'suburbs' pursuing my career (I'm a vet) which has it's advantages - my own drive, open countryside and Stansted/Europe on my doorstep. I eagerly await the invention of teleportation so I can have my cake and eat it - city living with instant access to mountains, forests and a garden bigger than a wheelie bin.
My friends and family are important to me, I work in a caring profession which makes me a good listener and compassionate partner. The rest of my job involves blood, guts, gore and fluffy kittens (James Herriot style) so be warned.

I respect a fit body, but more so a fit mind - you don't have to be a 6ft Adonis to catch my attention. I can't pigeon hole my taste but character and an open mind to toss ideas around with goes further than a six pack and a tan in my world. After a few drinks though I would admit that I have a full size poster of Jonny Wilkinson in the airing cupboard, but don't let that put you off....
Sociable is a definite plus, I love organising a good gathering and having a house full of friends. A comfy lap to snuggle into goes down well the next day...
