Because I am a spirited, bright, mischievous, independent lass who still enjoys an adventure and has a glint in her eye. I am sharp, instinctive, cheeky & exuberantly contradictory with a liking for the absurd & ridiculous. Resourceful & experience rich with a self awareness that means I can laugh at myself, I have a humour that can see the funny side of most things. I'm open, insightful & intuitive a good listener not minding silence, time to reflect, but can hold my own in a discussion too. I will probably make you laugh and may even show you my den.
Not materialistic, but eating outside in the garden on warm sunny evenings is indeed a good thing. As are warm sunny mornings, the lido after work, cold crisp mornings when you can see your breath; leaning into the wind with your coat open, a stroll or bike ride along on the South Bank, finding streets you've never been up, a good film or book, looking at things from a different angle or place, turning things on their heads, weekend breaks, winter holidays somewhere warm, cooking & eating with & for friends, puerile, smutty somewhat crude & rather filthy humour & laughing till you go all squirmy.
I often say hello to strangers and smile at passers by, I like the sunshine & I like it when it snows, I like riding my bike in the rain – if I am not on my way to work. I like wine white if it feels like summer & red if it feels like winter. I like being by water, a lido, a river, a lake, loch, the sea or even the bath & going to new places close to home and far away. I like being nude, even when it’s cold. & especially for swimming. I like tapirs- when they swim you can see their teeth, naked mole rats- you can always see their teeth, sifaka lemurs cos they can only skip sideways & nahrwals are good too.
Don’t like arrogance, lack of compassion, prejudice, marzipan, bluebottles (the flys not the glass) strong fish (taste not weight lifting) the smell of a tripe factory, chewing gum under tables or on seats, privatized utilities...
