I joined Soulmates last autumn after a long and protracted break-up. I joined to get some confidence back, have a bit of fun and hopefully meet some nice men. I had lots of fun getting email attention and writing to various people. More nerve-wracking was the actual dating, but again, it was an interesting experience and a really good way to meet different people you'd never otherwise come across.

By a stroke of good luck I then met Richard, who had waited a month for my initial reply. After a week of lovely emails we had a wonderful first date in Richmond Park. I wasn't sure about him after the first date, but we had discovered we shared the same birthday so I took that as a good sign and decided to see him again... to cut a long story short, in summer this year we relocated to Somerset together (on foot!) and are now expecting our first child. We couldn't be happier. Thanks!
