I was one of the first subscribers to Soulmates in 2004. Fortunately for me, so was a beautiful but overlooked (by all sensible men) woman under the moniker of GlastonburyGirl. Despite the fact that she was far cooler than me and that I failed her profile test "Applicant Must Be Able to Cook", she agreed to a date. And then another. And, heaven help her, she risked buying a house with me. We were married this summer.

The twist in the tale is that GlastonburyGirl and I had worked at the same university since 1999 but never crossed paths. So Soulmates succeeded where our employer failed.....
