Just wanted to say a hearty, shouty, very much meant thank you.

I joined under pressure to keep a couple of friends company, just after joining moved to a small country 2000 miles away, didn't even think of going on any dates, and just made a couple of email friends with people doing similar jobs, living in hotels, always travelling and finding it hard to meet people outside of work. By coincidence one of them eventually and coincidentally got transferred to the country where I live and we became friends in real life.

Now we live together, and we're very happy.

But I'm in trouble with my boss because I don't want to travel any more.
