A female friend encouraged me to check out Soulmates. I searched the profiles of local people for free; one particularly gorgeous profile and photo persuaded me to pay up and sign up. Needless to say I selected her as my first favourite and we were soon mailing. The first phone call did it; after two hours on the line we finished our conversation in the local pub in the middle of the mile which separates our two homes. The chemistry is still fizzing four weeks later and we have just spent a brilliant Christmas discussing the rest of our lives together. We are both mid-50s and old enough and experienced enough to know no better!

We are both gregarious and are discovering loads of mutual friends but our paths had never crossed emotionally. So thank you Soulmates and good luck to everyone.
